1.How to ask
You can ask for your account and the data in it to be deleted at any time, in either of two ways.
In the Truelink app
Team members: open Profile and choose Delete account. Owners: tap your picture at the top of the screen and choose Delete account. Both bring you to this page.
By email
Write to support@truelink.ai with the subject Delete my Truelink account. Send it from the email address on your account, or give us the mobile number you sign in with, and tell us your name and your organisation.
We may reply to confirm that it is you before we begin. We tell you in writing when it is done, within the time the law requires.
2.If you are a team member
The organisation that invited you decides how Truelink is used in it, and your business mailbox belongs to the organisation. Ask us or ask your owner: either way, we handle your request together with the organisation. Your owner can also switch your access off at once.
3.If you run an organisation
Closing an owner’s account ends the organisation’s use of Truelink. So we confirm with you what that means for your team before we do it.
4.What we delete
When your account ends, we delete your information: your account details, your memory and the facts you confirmed, the messages, files and notes you added, and the access keys of the services you connected, such as Google.
Files you delete yourself go to a trash for 30 days before they are removed.
5.What we keep, and for how long
- Records that the law requires us to keep, such as invoices and payment records, for the period the law requires.
- Copies of your data in our encrypted backups, until those backups expire. Backups are kept for up to 180 days.
We never sell your information and never use it for advertising.
6.Delete only some things
You do not have to close your account to remove data. In the app you can edit or delete facts in your memory, disconnect accounts and delete files. To disconnect Google, use Truelink or myaccount.google.com/permissions. Our Privacy Policy has the full list of your rights.
